What are your room configurations?
We have fully self-contained 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments.

Is the beach safe to swim?
Most definitely. The beach is patrolled every day all year and is directly opposite to Mandolin and Mooloolaba Beach is a pleasant stroll just a few hundred meters away. There is also one of Australia’s best surf breaks across the road “The Bluff” which is safe for advanced or beginners.

What facilities are nearby? Mandolin Holiday apartments are perfectly located opposite the Alex Surf Club and patrolled beach. Walk a few hundred metres to Mooloolaba, Maroochydore Public Library, Maroochydore and Mooloolaba Bowls Club, Cotton Tree Olympic Swimming Pool and Cotton Tree Park. The kids will love the skate and play ground parks directly opposite and behind Mandolin. Enjoy a wonderful choice of restaurants and shopping on your doorstep in Alexandra Headlands or Mooloolaba. Does every room have a view? Each apartment appreciates magnificent ocean views with large balconies overlooking the tropical gardens, and ocean from Mooloolaba to Noosa.

How close is the beach?
Out the front door is your choice of beaches of Alexandra Headlands and Mooloolaba beach which are both safe patrolled beaches. The Maroochy River is also a short walk away.

How close is the shopping?
One of Queensland's largest shopping centres, Sunshine Plaza is only 20 minutes walk. Maroochydore CBD is on your door-step so shopping is everywhere. Walk in any direction and you will find everything from convenience stores to exclusive boutiques. The bus is on the door step too and comes every 15 minutes.

Are your apartments close to restaurants?
There are dozens of restaurants within walking distance.

Are there any good fishing spots nearby? Yes most definitely - You have the choice of River, Beach or Off Shore fishing. Why not hire a boat and explore the majestic Maroochy or Mooloolaba Rivers. Are there any good walks close by? Yes. From Mooloolaba to Maroochydore and Cotton Tree is fully pathed. You can walk along the waterfront both ways for several kilometres. Follow a wide coastal path along the Maroochy River and the beaches to Mooloolaba. Perfectly safe for children and bikes as well.

Is there public transport?
Yes. The local Sun Bus service stops conveniently at our front door every 15 minutes, and services the entire Sunshine Coast, as well as services to Brisbane and the Airport.

How far are Mooloolaba & Noosa?
Mooloolaba is a few minutes walk. Noosa is a quick 30 minute drive.
